- ➤ Nearly two months after 15-year-old Dylan Straughn was killed in a hit-and-run while riding his bike in Colerain Township, his father Paul Straughn is creating a scholarship in his son's name to help students attend Moeller High School—while police continue to investigate the driver who left the scene. - ➤ Rascal Flatts will perform as a headliner at the Voices of America Country Music Fest in West Chester next summer. The festival runs from August 6 through 9 and ticket packages are on sale—Blake Shelton was already announced as another key act. Local 12 News
- ➤ Columbus's Rascal Flatts (one of the biggest acts in country) was announced as the second headliner for the 2026 Voices of America Country Music Fest in West Chester Township and joins Blake Shelton as a top act. - ➤ Parents in Ross Local School District pressed the board at a Thursday meeting — warning that low pay may drive quality teachers away and hurt student learning. - ➤ Hamilton City Schools Superintendent Andrea Blevins will address the impact of state budget cuts on district funding in two sessions tonight at Hamilton High School auditorium—one from 3:30 to 5 and another from 5:30 to 7.
