- ➤ Hamilton County Prosecutor Connie Pillich said she will not challenge Judge Wende C. Cross’s ruling that excluded key evidence—such as testimony from the late Blue Ash officer—from use in Elwood Jones’s new trial after his 1996 murder conviction of Rhoda Nathan and over 27 years on death row—while the case now awaits a separate Ohio Supreme Court decision.
