- ➤ Gregory Wright, a 32-year-old from Avondale, was indicted for aggravated riot and aggravated robbery after he allegedly ripped a gold chain from a victim during the July 26 downtown altercation—he remains in Hamilton County Jail on a $100,000 bond and pleaded not guilty. FOX 19 Now
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Winton Woods City Schools launched a free after-school program for middle school students Monday as part of a partnership with the Boys and Girls Club of Hamilton and the City of Forest Park. The program ran from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and offered mentoring, sports, academic support, tutoring, and field trips — while the district improved campus security with active shooter training and high-tech badges.
