- ➤ Early Wednesday morning, the Hamilton County coroner identified Samuel Mumyarutete, 48, as the man fatally shot by a Lockland police officer during a multi-county chase along I-75 that began at 2:45 a.m. when a license-plate reader flagged his stolen vehicle and after a failed taser attempt he ignored commands while on foot near milepost 14, prompting the officer to fire.
