About this event
Long before John Williams, Hans Zimmer and Danny Elfman became household names, a generation of composers established the sound of Hollywood. The KSO explores The Rise of the Film Score with music by the forefathers of cinematic music—including Erich Korngold, Max Steiner, Franz Waxman, Alfred Newman and Miklós Rózsa. Experience music from Casablanca, Sunset Boulevard, Gone with the Wind, Ben-Hur, Kings Row, Airport and more as the KSO revisits the grand sound of Hollywood’s Golden Age. If you love great movies—and great music—this is an evening you won't want to miss. Tickets: $19–$35 Ages 18 and under: 50% off!
