About this event
It's time for our annual big read! We voted in September and decided to go with Desperation!
Below is the reading schedule for the rest of the year.
October - Part 1 (my copy shows this as pages 1-210) November - Parts 2 and 3 (my copy shows this as pages 214-507) December - Parts 4 and 5 (my copy shows this as 512-the end)
Those page counts are from my hardcover edition, which has 690 pages. If you have a different edition or the paperback version, the page counts will be different. But the parts of the book are very well marked, so you won't have an issue knowing how much to read each month. For our audiobook listeners, the entire audiobook is a little over 21 hours.
As usual, we'd love to have everyone join us, whether you've finished the part we're reading or not, but we will discuss the whole section, so there might be spoilers. And if you finish the book early, that's fine, but please be careful when discussing it so you don't ruin anything for anyone who is reading on schedule.
See you all then!
