Open House is your opportunity to step inside AAC, see the work happening here, and meet the people you could be learning and making alongside.

Meet the artists, designers, and writers who teach here—and the students doing the work now. Ask about majors, classes, critiques, studio life, Cincinnati, and what happens after AAC.

PORTFOLIO REVIEWS

Bring your work and have a real conversation about it. A one-on-one Portfolio Review gives you direct, personalized feedback on what you’re making, what you’re exploring, and where you can push your work next. Already thinking about applying? Your Open House Portfolio Review can fulfill the portfolio review portion of your AAC application.

Open House happens alongside WHAM! BAM! SLAM! AAC’s inaugural Comic Expo & Artist Alley—bringing professional artists, publishers, collectors, students, and comics fans together across campus. Explore original work, meet working artists, visit exhibitions throughout our galleries, and see AAC Illustration students exhibiting and selling their work alongside established professionals. It’s also a chance to experience AAC on a day when the studios and galleries aren’t simply open for visitors—they’re active, full of work, conversation, and exchange.
