  • On Tuesday, Dec. 9, St. Vincent de Paul hosted its second winter coat drive at the Clippard Family YMCA in Colerain Township, handing out nearly 1,200 coats to Hamilton County residents in need—donations at local stores also earn a free coney coupon from Gold Star.  WLWT
  • Tyler McCleary, founder of HamilTurkey who fed 8,000 people at Thanksgiving, was named Citizen of the Year by the Greater Hamilton Chamber of Commerce and will be honored on Jan. 30 at Spooky Nook Sports Champion Mill. He credited teamwork and plans to do even more for Hamilton.  Journal-News
  • Hamilton County Job and Family Services is hosting its annual Kindness for Kids drive to help 2,100 foster children have a special Christmas; foster parents begin purchasing gifts today while donations are accepted at local venues (including the Children’s Theatre and Jeff Ruby’s restaurants).  WCPO

  • Business partners Ryan Quatkemeyer and Zachary Whitehead opened a renovated 36,000 sqft No Wake Marine showroom in Fairfield on Friday after a month-long, $250,000 renovation that doubled their space and employee count — a move aimed to boost sales to about $45 million by end of 2027.  Journal-News

  • The Fitton Center for Creative Arts launched Fitton Stage Academy & will hold auditions for its debut production 'Finding Nemo Kids' this weekend on Dec. 14 at noon, 1 and 2 p.m. Two performances are set for Feb. 6 and Feb. 7.  Journal-News
  • Local radio will present a live audio performance of 'It's a Wonderful Life' this weekend, inviting community members to tune in for a creative retelling at the station.  FOX 19 Now

HEALTH NEWS

  • The FDA recalled over 4,000 cases of Ventura Foods salad dressings sold at local retailers after black plastic pieces were found in the products. Hamilton consumers are advised to return or discard the recalled items for a refund.  Local 12 News
