BUSINESS NEWS

  • Meyer Brothers and Sons received the first Pride in Place award from 17Strong for their support of the Jefferson neighborhood. The home remodeling business moved to East Avenue last year and turned a former freight depot into a workshop and showroom — efforts that local officials say boosted community improvements.  Journal-News

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Madison High School students are forming a new FFA chapter with Butler Tech as over 20 students sign up and teacher Annell Pronchnow serves as advisor. They will hold meetings to learn about farming careers and leadership while asking local agriculture experts for support.  Journal-News

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Butler County, West Chester Twp.—MetroParks are sharing $800,000 to fund a new traffic signal and road improvements on Tylersville Road at Voice of America Park. The signal, scheduled for 2027, will improve safety as traffic increases from the USS Cincinnati submarine war memorial project.  Journal-News

SPORTS NEWS

  • Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said he expects Joe Burrow to play in primetime on Thanksgiving against the Baltimore Ravens + Burrow hinted his return on Instagram with a 2014 photo featuring a LeBron James jersey.  FOX 19 Now
  • Between November 17th and 21st, the Ohio High School Athletic Association voted to approve an emergency bylaw that lets high school athletes sign NIL deals for endorsements, appearances, and social media. The rule took effect immediately—447 schools voted yes, 121 voted no, and 247 abstained—and OHSAA Executive Director Doug Ute said the organization will monitor recruiting and transfer rules as these deals evolve.  WLWT
