  • Families can enjoy a traditional holiday outing at Christmas Ranch in Morrow where over one million lights, seven stores, rides, and Santa create a festive display. The 100-acre park will open Nov. 21 at 5 p.m. and is open on Fridays and Saturdays (5 p.m. to 9 p.m.) and Sundays through Thursdays from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. with reservations required (tickets cost $32 per car).  WLWT

BUSINESS NEWS

  • Easton McCullough, a 5-year-old from Butler County, ran his own bait business at his family's home in Madison Township (known online as Mr. Tuddles) and turned a trailer into a mobile bait shop with help from his dad, Colton, and Hamilton Bait and Tackle. He began with a lemonade stand and grew his summer hustle to attract over 93,000 followers on TikTok.  WLWT

EDUCATION NEWS

  • On Nov. 4, Lakota Schools voters rejected a proposed tax bond issue by 60.81% to 39.19%, and district officials will re-evaluate facility plans. Meanwhile, Madison Schools voters approved a tax renewal by 54.09% to 45.91% with a 204-vote margin and high school busing will return on Dec. 1 — officials said fee reductions will be discussed later.  Journal-News

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Retired Army Specialist Mike Barge, a former Cincinnati police officer now serving as a school security officer, is receiving a Purple Heart today 36 years after he was severely injured in Honduras when a grenade struck him during a unit outing for pizza—he was critically wounded in 1989, had to relearn walking, and the award, presented by SSG Jacob Hernandez, honors his sacrifice while he remembers six fellow soldiers still awaiting recognition.  Local 12 News

  • A West Chester mother is hosting the Echoes for Joshua gala next week at Delta Hotels in Sharonville to honor her 6-year-old son Joshua Al Lateef Jr., who drowned in a pond last November and had autism—she hopes the event will raise awareness and support for other families.  WLWT
