EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Eighteen local educators will be honored Wednesday, October 22 by the Harry T. Wilks Foundation for their service in Hamilton—each will receive a $1,000 grant from the Hamilton Community Foundation, which has managed more than 1,000 funds since 1951. This recognition supports their ongoing contribution to local education. Journal-News

- ➤ A new mental health resource for Tri-State youth was introduced to provide a central point for support services—program leaders say the initiative will help young people access timely care across the region. FOX 19 Now
REAL ESTATE NEWS
- ➤ A study by the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland found that investor-owned single family homes increased in Ohio from 2018 to 2024—out-of-state buyers and cash offers became more common in several counties. Lucas, Summit, Franklin and Cuyahoga counties saw the biggest changes, which may make it tougher for local families to buy homes. WVXU
