She will present forecasts at 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. and brings experience from KCCI-TV in Des Moines and stations in Oregon—her return marks a full circle moment to her Greater Cincinnati roots. WVXU

- ➤ Voters in Lakota School District have three weeks to vote on a bond issue and levy that will pay for a master facilities plan to reduce the number of schools from 21 to 16 by demolishing nine and building four new ones at a cost of 5.94 mills—raising taxes by about $93 per each $100,000 of appraised value. School leaders say the measure will unlock state co-funding and lower future levies, and the district holds a meeting at Lakota East High School today from 6 to 7 p.m. to explain the plan.
