- ➤ At Operation Pumpkin 2025 in Hamilton, a pumpkin weighing 2,518 pounds broke the Ohio state record and came within 300 pounds of the world record. Scott Andrusz and his two sons won the contest and the festival continues with live music, food and art—drawing fans from across the nation—while competitors prepare for the next weigh-off. WLWT

- ➤ Hamilton County will see its first Wawa when the store opens on Friday, Nov. 7 at 370 Glensprings Dr. in Springdale. The Pennsylvania-based chain plans to open dozens of locations in Ohio over the next five to eight years + already has four stores in the state. FOX 19 Now
- ➤ Wawa will open its first Hamilton County store at 370 Glensprings Drive in Springdale on Nov. 7 during a grand opening event that will include festivities, a ribbon‐cutting ceremony, and announcements of community partnerships— the company also plans to launch its Hoagies for Heroes initiative and create 2,100 new jobs. - ➤ Aglamesis Brothers Ice Cream and Candy is celebrating the one-year anniversary of its Hamilton location at 304 Main St. by launching a weekend of sweet deals and special giveaways, including a $10 gift card for the first 10 customers (with purchase), free second scoops, and a daily raffle for a year of free ice cream that runs through Sunday.
