- ➤ Dayton Ballet will present “Who Wants to be a Dancer?” at Fitton Center on Oct 17 at 7:30 p.m.—the performance will offer kids and families a behind-the-scenes look at dance with real-time interaction and a Q&A session on what it takes to be a dancer. - ➤ BrightPath Early Learning and Child Care will open a new childcare center in Liberty Township this winter. The 13,000 square foot center on Princeton-Glendale Road is under construction—planning to serve infants to Pre-K and hire 30-35 employees. Journal-News
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Butler County officials say a new senior services levy is needed on the Nov. 4 ballot because the current $10.9 million renewal will not meet growing needs for transportation, meals, and in-home care — without it, 4,000 older adults could lose their services. The Council on Aging urges voters to support the levy so seniors can stay at home. Journal-News
