- ➤ Seven-year-old Michael Askins, a Bengals fan and Oak Hills Little Highlanders player, was severely injured in a car crash on Columbia Parkway in Delhi Township on Aug. 6 and spent 39 nights in intensive care at Cincinnati Children's Hospital — he is now showing clear neurological improvement by reading and doing math despite being paralyzed from the waist down — while his mother recuperates from broken ribs and a knee injury. - ➤ Mallory Georgia Marie, once a student at Middletown Christian High who skipped class to play piano—earning her 'most likely to be famous' title—will star as Elle Wood in Legally Blonde: The Musical at La Comedia Dinner Theater in Springboro from Sept. 18 to Oct. 26. She has built her career through early roles at La Comedia and a performance with Dolly Parton, and now she continues her journey in local theater. Journal-News
