- ➤ Hamilpalooza returns Aug. 23 to the streets around Marcum Park in Hamilton and will run from noon to 6 p.m. The family-friendly event will feature over 150 vendor booths, live bands (Ledfoot from noon-2:30 p.m. and Don’t Tell Steve from 3-6 p.m.), family activities, food trucks and a car show. ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A motorcyclist crashed and was found on the ground just before 8 a.m. Wednesday on Stewart Road near Woodsway Drive in Columbia Township — first responders closed the road as the sheriff’s office investigates. FOX 19 Now
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Voices of America Country Music Festival kicks off today in West Chester with over 100,000 fans expected over a four-day weekend as stars like Darius Rucker, Carrie Underwood, Hardy and Bailey Zimmerman perform. Gates open today at 4 p.m.—with police, fire and medical teams ensuring safety throughout the event—while local businesses serve a variety of food and beverages. WLWT
- ➤ Coordinators said the Sacred Heart festival will be even bigger this year with new food vendors, extra live music, and more rides at the church’s school campus on 400 Nilles Road. The three-day event will run from Friday at 6 p.m. until midnight, Saturday 5 p.m. until midnight, and Sunday 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. and will help raise money for the church and school—drawing nearly 10,000 people.
