- ➤ MetroParks of Butler County announced that five local organizations each received up to $5,000 to improve parks and outdoor spaces by repairing bridges, updating signage, and adding new features like bench swings at Miami Regionals. Projects—such as repairs at Bull’s Run Nature Sanctuary, enhancements in Liberty and St. Clair Townships, and improved parking at Three Valley Conservation Trust—must be completed within 12 months. - ➤ A First Watch restaurant will move into the closed Frisch’s Big Boy on Princeton Road in Fairfield Twp. in early September as renovations continue, adding new dining options for about 160 customers. The 5,416-square-foot space (which will include an interior recessed patio) will serve fresh juices, cocktails, and made-to-order meals from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (with about 30 employees planned).
