Good morning, Hamilton. Here's your local news at a glance for Thursday, the 24th of July.

COMMUNITY NEWS

  • Emily Mullen, owner of Mullen Dairy and Creamery in Okeana, noticed three years ago that few dairy cows were featured at the Butler County Fair and set up a rent-a-calf program so kids could care for the animals. The program saved the dairy segment + 32 of the 35 cows were shown at Monday’s open dairy show, ensuring the fair stayed active in the community.  Journal-News
