Good morning, Hamilton.

Supporters are calling for the release of local religious leader Ayman Soliman, a former chaplain at Cincinnati Children's Hospital who was detained by ICE during a routine check-in after his asylum was terminated in June—his lawyers have filed a temporary restraining order to prevent his transfer from Butler County. More than 300 community members and city council representatives gathered outside the hospital on Sunday to show their support.

Middletown police responded to a call for a gunshot wound and exchanged fire with a suspect accused of killing a woman—resulting in the deaths of both the suspect and the victim.

Realtor Donnell Shepard shared home buying tips that advise Hamilton residents to review their budgets closely and work with experienced agents to navigate a competitive housing market.

His advice comes as local buyers face rising demand and tighter inventory this summer.
