- ➤ At 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, Butler County firefighters used a rope system and a 35-foot ladder to descend a 50-foot drop near Timberhill Metropark in Fairfield Township to rescue two juveniles from a creek, and they were taken to the hospital. WCPO

- ➤ On Wednesday afternoon, Hamilton County deputies arrived at Burns and Washington avenues in Wyoming and found that 15-year-old Jaymir Hill was fatally shot during a brief altercation—neighbors tried to help until medics arrived—police are now searching for the suspects. WLWT
