  • A Hamilton County jury awarded Revolution Fitness $22,294,967 in a lawsuit against Doug Evans and his company BEE Holdings LP—after finding Evans blocked the club's chance to buy the leased property. The jury noted that the disputed property was later sold to Forest Hills School District for a large profit—resulting in both compensatory and punitive damages for the fitness center.  Local 12 News

CRIME NEWS

  • Search teams are looking for Cameron Jones (12) who was last seen leaving his home on Summer Ridge Court at 10 a.m. Tuesday, and they plan to resume searching (at daylight Friday and Saturday morning).  FOX 19 Now
  • Ohio Land Search and Rescue reported that 12-year-old Cameron Jones has been missing since Tuesday when he was last seen walking to Crawford Woods Park at 10 a.m. on July 1 wearing a black hoodie, dark blue jeans and black Nike Air Force shoes, and search teams are using drones and ground teams daily to find him (contact 513-785-1300 or 513-633-1230).  WLWT

  • Liberty Township trustees banned short-term rentals and extended a moratorium to Jan. 1 after residents complained about disruptive guest behavior—reports included loud parties and disturbances—and a neighborhood that no longer felt secure. Township staff will update the zoning resolution—planned over the next three months through public hearings—to match the new ban.  Journal-News
  • Federal funds for Ohio Boys and Girls Clubs will end in 2026 while funds already approved remain on hold—officials say this review may force some of the 13 clubs serving up to 60,000 kids to close. Local leaders are urging a quick decision to help protect vital youth services.  FOX 19 Now
