- ➤ Tristan King was sentenced to 30 months in prison for failing to stop after causing the June 2024 hit-and-run that killed Mary Beth Blankenship in Hanover Township—he turned himself in, pleaded guilty, and his driver’s license will be suspended for 3 years. Local 12 News
- ➤ Sharonville police said 19-year-old Matthew Kennedy—last seen on Sunday night leaving his home on East Kemper Road in the Tennyson Community—has been found safe—officials noted his autism and history of suicidal ideations made his disappearance especially concerning—and they urge anyone with further information to call 911. - ➤ The Ohio Supreme Court will soon review a case in which Ohio’s Consumers’ Counsel challenges state regulators’ approval of charges on Duke Energy natural gas bills for infrastructure no longer used, including retired propane caverns and a new gas pipeline. The case, affecting (420,000 customers) and possibly lowering bills by a couple of dollars per month, will proceed to oral argument (Oct. 7). WLWT
