  • Save the Animal Foundation is offering adoption opportunities for pets in Hamilton—residents can visit the center to meet animals—and learn about the adoption process.  FOX 19 Now
  • Matthew 25 Ministries said it will deploy response teams today to areas hit by Friday night's severe storms in Laurel and Polaski counties in Kentucky and the greater St. Louis area. The ministry will distribute essential supplies—personal hygiene items, first aid kits, tarps, and batteries—to help communities after at least 27 deaths, including 18 in Kentucky.  WLWT
  • The Cheviot Branch Library reopened its doors after an eight-month, $4.95M renovation that added a fully accessible entrance, a new elevator and updated children’s, teen and meeting areas — a project that is part of a larger plan to upgrade local library branches.  Local 12 News

  • A house fire broke out on Bindley-Mounts Road in Harlan Township Saturday evening around 6:50 p.m.—heavy flames were seen near Whitacre Drive and the cause remains unclear.  WLWT
  • On Friday night, a Monroe family said lightning struck their home during storms and started an attic fire that damaged about $10,000 in belongings while Monroe firefighters quickly put out the blaze and a fallen tree on Greentree Road in nearby Lebanon blocked traffic.  WLWT
