West Chester Township opened the U.S.S.

Cincinnati Cold War Memorial Peace Pavilion at Voice of America Park on Saturday. The $9.5 million pavilion honors Cold War veterans with original submarine pieces, interactive exhibits, and family activities.

Hamilton native Nicole Fleetwood, a Hamilton High School graduate, was chosen as one of 252 leaders by the American Academy of Arts*Sciences and will be inducted in October in Cambridge.

She credits her late grandmother and local educators for inspiring her remarkable journey in academia and the arts.
