  • A 17-year-old Fairfield Township teenager accused of shooting into a vehicle in September 2024 is now being tried as an adult in Butler County Court of Common Pleas for charges including felonious assault with a deadly weapon—his bond is set at $55,000.  FOX 19 Now

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Fourth- and fifth-grade students at Lincoln Heights Elementary learned about gardening on May 15 when they planted fruits and vegetables in the community garden. Executive Director Daronce Daniels said the third annual event helped empower students and build community ownership—an effort supported by local partners.  WLWT

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Nearly two dozen goats arrived at Miami Woods Park on New London Road in Hamilton to eat invasive species such as honeysuckle—part of a joint project by the Hamilton Parks Conservatory and Metro Parks of Butler County. Visitors can watch the goats work and a 'Meet the Goats' night is planned for May 21.  Local 12 News
