- ➤ After two decades of planning, the USS Cincinnati memorial built from salvage of a Cold War submarine will be dedicated this weekend at Voice of America MetroPark in West Chester — the public ceremony begins Saturday at 1 p.m. with a flag raising and re-wetting of the vessel. WVXU
- ➤ Weekend anchor Lindsay Stone will leave WLWT-TV when her contract expires May 24. Stone, who joined in March 2023 to replace Mollie Lair, said she is stepping into a new season filled with exciting opportunities while staying in Greater Cincinnati. WVXU

- ➤ Neighbors rescued a mother and her 12-year-old daughter from a second-floor fire in Elmwood Place on Wednesday, May 13 — the family is recovering while the young girl was treated for a broken leg and two pets were lost. WLWT

- ➤ 80 Lincoln Heights Elementary students visited Jackson Street Farms Thursday to learn about farming & healthy living through hands-on lessons and a fruit tree wall planted for retiring principal Dawn Bailey. WCPO

- ➤ Drivers using Western Hills Viaduct will have closures for Duke Energy maintenance, with both decks and ramps shutting down May 26-29 (9 a.m. to 3 p.m.) and the bottom deck closing May 30 from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. for an annual inspection. Local 12 News
