Good morning, Hamilton.

A car hit a utility pole on North Bend Road in Green Township around 4:50 a.m. on May 14th, and the driver Tieshia Schaeffer, 48, died while a passenger was taken to University Hospital — police report a possible medical emergency and rule out alcohol or drugs — with the investigation handled by the township police traffic unit.

A 17-year-old male died on May 13th when his gray Honda Civic left the road on Maude Hughes Road—south of Kyles Station Road in Liberty Twp.—and collided head-on with a white van, injuring the van driver with minor injuries as investigators probe the cause.

Police arrested 32-year-old Dathan Hall six months after the November shooting death of 33-year-old Jason Stewart on West North Bend Road—Stewart's family said they hope the arrest brings the justice and accountability they have long awaited.

Middletown native Kyle Schwarber is having a near record start for the Phillies — he has hit 14 home runs in 149 at-bats and posted a .268 average with 32 RBIs.

Fans are urging the team to secure him with a long-term deal estimated at $100 million if his strong play continues.
