- ➤ Texas Roadhouse in Hamilton experienced a fire on May 1 at around 8 p.m. at 1366 Main St. that caused significant damage, left the restaurant closed with no injuries reported, and is under investigation — work has begun on a new location in front of Meijer that is expected to open in September and add 25 new jobs. - ➤ Former deputy Larry Henderson, who served 33 years with the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office and worked part-time security at Anderson Hospital’s emergency department, was killed on Friday while directing traffic at a University of Cincinnati graduation when Rodney Hinton intentionally struck him—authorities said the deliberate act has deeply affected the local community. - ➤ An 18-year-old man, Cynsere Grigsby, alleged in a car theft that led to a fatal police shooting last week, appeared in court yesterday at 9:00 a.m.—he faces charges of receiving stolen property and felony obstruction of official business—with two others having been arraigned on similar charges.
