- ➤ Downlite International is set to close its Deerfield Township headquarters and Blue Ash facility between June 19 and July 2 as part of its sale to Boca Raton-based Live Comfortably. The move will lead to 164 layoffs, including the full C-suite, under the *WARN Act*. Local 12 News
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Four local school districts are asking voters to approve an earned income tax on the ballot, with Mount Healthy Schools proposing a 0.75% rate to fund essential operations after significant staff cuts. The tax would not affect Social Security (pensions, unemployment benefits, disability income, or investment income). Local 12 News
- ➤ Southwest Local Schools will close Friday due to the funeral of Harrison High teacher Steve Coffman, who died after a medical emergency last Thursday. Coffman's visitation runs from 3 to 7 p.m. at Weigel Funeral Home in Batesville, with a Mass at 10 a.m. Friday. WLWT
