- ➤ Middletown City Schools has named G. Elgin Card as its new superintendent (effective Aug. 1). Card currently leads Princeton City Schools in Hamilton County and brings decades of teaching and leadership experience. Local 12 News
- ➤ Brooke Rouse is hosting a children's book drive to support local kids' summer reading programs. The drive will run through the summer and invites Hamilton residents to donate books to boost literacy. FOX 19 Now

- ➤ At the 28th Flying Pig half-marathon near Cincinnati, Bart Burgess finished first just after 7:30 a.m. while Simon Hayes & Amanda Zerhusen won the men's and women's races shortly after, with local runners securing title honors at the event. WLWT
