  • Savvy Style Consignment opened at 408 Main Street in Hamilton. The shop, owned by Amy Ansorg, offers women's apparel, shoes, jewelry, accessories and home decor (operating Tuesday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m.) and is located next to Guilded Fox Boutique.  Journal-News

  • A new Ohio Historical Marker was placed in front of Spooky Nook Sports Champion Mill on B Street in Hamilton to honor over 100 years of paper-making that shaped the city (it replaces a 1994 plaque).  Journal-News
  • Joe Dance (92) and his wife Coty (90) have kept a weekly tradition at Skyline Chili in Bridgetown for 36 years, hosting family and community workers every Monday at 11:30 a.m. Their gatherings now include four generations sharing memorable meals.  Local 12 News

EDUCATION NEWS

  • 15-year-old Melody Lin of Butler County won second prize at the National 4-H AI in Agriculture Challenge for her project using AI to assess spotted lanternfly risk on local orchards—she will develop her app over the summer to help Ohio farmers.  WVXU

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • For a second year, goats are at Miami Woods Park to clear invasive honeysuckle and callery pear until the end of May — an eco-friendly method that gives locals a chance to see the animals at Meet the Goats Night.  WLWT

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • A long-planned project in Butler County gets a funding boost as the state allocates $27 million for the new I-75 Millikin Road interchange in Liberty Twp. Construction will begin in the second half of 2027 and finish in 2029.  Journal-News

REAL ESTATE NEWS

  • Hamilton County’s Affordable Housing Leverage Fund financed 948 affordable housing units for residents earning 80% or less of the area median income, with 84% at 60% AMI. Two thirds of the units will be built in Cincinnati, boosting the city’s annual average from 250 to about 650 to 700 units.  WVXU
