  • D’Oro, an upscale-casual Italian restaurant by the owners of Alfio’s Buon Cibo’s and Noche, will open at Summit Park this fall in Blue Ash pending city approval this week — the name means gold in Italian.  FOX 19 Now

CULTURE NEWS

  • Greater Cincinnati Restaurant Week runs April 20-26, where over 60 local restaurants serve set three-course meals at $26, $36, $46 and $56. One dollar from each meal goes to Cincinnati Children's Hospital + diners earn points for a gift card sweepstakes.  WLWT

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Hundreds of elementary students recently attended Badin High School’s Science Carnival, where interactive experiments include lighting a soaked dollar bill on fire without damage + sparking interest in science among local private school feeders.  Journal-News

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Resurfacing work on I-275 will cause lane closures Monday-Friday, Apr. 20-24 on both eastbound & westbound lanes near U.S. 42/Lebanon Road and I-75. On April 22, the ramp from I-75 North to I-275 East will close from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. on April 23 with detours available.  Local 12 News
  • ODOT urges drivers to slow in work zones to keep everyone safe. The agency warns drivers today to follow posted speed limits along roads with active work areas.  FOX 19 Now
  • Butler County’s Board of Developmental Disabilities announced this summer that it will cut 24% of its staff and transfer one building to county commissioners, actions that will lessen therapy services and risk early intervention programs for children. The agency also is requesting a continuous levy to help stretch its budget.  Local 12 News
