- ➤ Nominations are open for the third annual Cincy Serves awards, honoring local difference makers who will each receive $5,300 to donate to a charity of their choosing. The Cincinnati Open and Fifth Third Bank will announce the 11 honorees on May 13, and nominations are accepted until April 24. WLWT
- ➤ Moon Co-op in Oxford won the Best Health Food Store award in the 2026 Best of Butler County and now offers locals a community-owned market with local, sustainable products and bulk healthy options (reducing waste) as it builds a hub for wellness. Journal-News

- ➤ Walmart announced it will remodel 18 stores in Ohio this year, including six in Greater Cincinnati, with upgraded layouts, improved technology, and expanded services such as free pharmacy delivery for Walmart+ members. - ➤ Hamilton city council approved a Community Reinvestment Area on April 8, letting Mueller Hotel LLC redevelop the Mueller Building (20 High St.) into a Marriott Tribute hotel with 150 rooms, rooftop space and restaurant. Work will start this spring and finish by spring 2028, creating 100 full time jobs. Journal-News
