- ➤ The Booker T. Washington Center in Hamilton has begun a $1.7 million expansion that will add 2,400 square feet and renovate 1,600 square feet while building two new classrooms, a kitchen, and rentable community space to enhance programming for children and working families. Most funding comes from ARPA funds (1.5 million dollars) from Butler County with $130,000 from the city and additional contributions from private donors. Local 12 News

- ➤ Overnight on Wednesday, a semi hauling 40,000 pounds of cheese overturned on southbound Interstate 71 near Kenwood mall—crews worked to right the 77,000-pound vehicle as the highway closed for hours with only a minor fuel leak and no injuries reported. FOX 19 Now

- ➤ On Monday, kindergarten to third-grade students experienced Haitian art and music at the Clark State Performing Arts Center as Tati Nuzi and Friends performed songs, dances and stories that celebrated Haitian culture.
