ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A Green Township sandwich restaurant closed Wednesday after an overnight fire along Harrison Ave near Penn Station — fire crews quickly extinguished the blaze with no injuries while cleanup is underway and the cause remains under investigation. WLWT
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Veterans or their surviving spouses with high utility bills can get emergency help from Butler County Veterans Service Office today to avoid power disconnects and catch up on payments; the office also helps identify third party suppliers that add extra costs. - ➤ Liberty Twp trustees approved plans on Course View Drive for eight new single-family homes, with finishing work on six duplexes set to begin in June and groundbreaking on the remaining lots likely in August. Journal-News
