EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Talawanda School District said on March 27 that a school board member’s account and student calendars were used to access sensitive student information without authorization, prompting the district to contact law enforcement to consider criminal charges. Administrators tightened privacy settings and notified families after concerns emerged at a December board meeting—further investigation is underway. Journal-News

- ➤ Liberty Township will end free recycling on April 30 because misuse of the bins has led to trash piling up nearby.
