- ➤ Panera will close its dough facility (4434 Muhlhauser Road in West Chester Township) on May 22 as part of a shift to an on-demand bakery model, cutting 70 jobs while providing severance and job placement help. Local 12 News
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Talawanda High School's Future Farmers of America chapter was named one of the top 10 programs in Ohio by the state Department of Agriculture. The Oxford-based chapter had a record school year as 17 students earned state degrees and nearly 185 members participated in projects run with Butler Tech. Journal-News
- ➤ Local parents are worried about a teacher shortage, but district officials say there are enough educators while a union president said Ohio schools offer more competitive pay & benefits to attract teachers. FOX 19 Now

- ➤ The city announced Mallory Greenham will serve as Hamilton’s economic development director effective April 5 — she currently is chief of staff and will honor late director Jody Gunderson’s legacy in urban revitalization. Journal-News
