  • Hamilton business Meyer Brothers & Sons suffered significant fire damage Wednesday night; the owners are grateful no one was hurt and are now assessing recovery as investigators look into the cause. The family-run firm, founded in 1978 and recently honored with a local award, plans its next steps with community support.  Journal-News

CULTURE NEWS

  • Local author Jenny Kane releases The Saint Bernard Memoirs detailing her journey with Saint Bernards and her dedication to charity (10% of proceeds go to Dog’s Life Rescue). She will host a book signing and author fair at Lawrenceburg Library on April 11 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.  WLWT

  • Talawanda High School students took part in Friday morning's Drive Your Tractor to School event, riding green tractors as a show of support for senior Wyatt French, who remains hospitalized after a Booth Road crash.   • Early Friday, security lines at CVG stretched around the terminal as spring break travel began, but by 5:40 a.m. wait times dropped to 15 minutes after the Senate approved DHS funding for TSA; experts say staffing may take weeks to return to normal.  WLWT
