- ➤ After a dog injured a Hamilton High School volunteer when its muzzle protruded from a vehicle cage, the Village Food Pantry in New Miami announced a new rule that today requires clients to load their own items if a dog is present and will refuse service next week if a dog remains in the vehicle—flyers have been distributed and the policy will fully take effect on April 2. - ➤ Charles Lee Sullivan III, 41, fled a traffic stop on Aug. 13 and drove the wrong way on Ohio 129, causing a crash that killed a 64 year old woman in Liberty Township — he appeared Tuesday in Butler County court facing felony charges including aggravated vehicular homicide, involuntary manslaughter, cocaine possession and failure to obey police signals. - ➤ Edgewood Schools will face about a $3M annual shortfall if voters do not renew the current 4.45-mill substitute levy on May 6, and district officials said the low-key campaign is running without yard signs or ads. If voters reject the renewal, the district will return in the fall with a new school tax measure to cover operating costs—while property taxes remain at $156 per $100,000 home. Journal-News
