  • Ohio child care centers are struggling with state rules that require 33 hours of care for full funding — local providers in Hamilton warn that higher thresholds and payment delays may force closures and reduce spots for children if extra funds do not come soon.  Journal-News
  • Miami University Hamilton campus now hosts the free Miami Regionals Professional Clothing Closet at Rentschler Hall to help students dress for interviews and networking events. Donations of business attire are welcome at 120 Rentschler Hall — open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Journal-News
  • Second graders from Mercer Elementary School took a full-day field trip to the Anderson Center Friday to learn local history, government roles, bike safety and community planning.
