- ➤ LocalMotive owners Dustin and Devan Ward will launch a free ride-hailing service on Hamilton streets starting in the second quarter — the service will use Polaris vehicles to transport up to five passengers on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and during RiversEdge Thursday evening concerts and special events. City Council’s approved low-interest loan helped secure the vehicles — the business will begin with a flag-down system on a designated downtown loop and use local advertising on the vehicles and an interactive app for event information.
