- ➤ A Hamilton man accused of firing a gun at officers during a February foot pursuit was indicted on multiple felony counts by a Butler County Grand Jury on March 6 and will face a plea hearing on April 10, charged with felonious assault, discharging a firearm on or near a prohibited premises, tampering with evidence, and having weapons while under disability. - ➤ Butler County Judge Michael Oster ruled that Hamilton police did not violate Antonio Riano’s rights during his 92-minute interrogation (he was charged with a 2004 murder of a Hamilton man) after he was extradited from Mexico, rejecting defense claims that translation issues led to confusion.
