ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • A former event space in Whitewater Township caught fire Wednesday morning, and firefighters used water tankers due to no hydrants nearby (the property, sold last fall, is set to be transformed into a sports complex).  Local 12 News

ECONOMY NEWS

  • Gas prices in local stations have surged 36 cents in one week as the conflict in the Middle East drives up global demand + some stations report nearly a 50-cent jump, forcing residents to adjust their fuel budgets while experts monitor the impact.  WLWT

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • After heavy rains on Wednesday and Thursday, crews cleared flooded streets in Millville and Germantown while officials in Decatur, Shelby and Butler counties warned motorists to avoid submerged roads. Authorities said more heavy rain is expected Saturday and Tuesday, urging residents to stay alert.  Local 12 News
  • Heavy rain from Wednesday night into Thursday morning led to high water and flooded roads in Hamilton County, forcing county engineers to close Lawrenceburg, Jordan, and Miles Roads — Butler County deputies conducted multiple rescues.
