- ➤ Forest Park-based Faxon Machining received a Department of Defense contract worth $473.23 million on Jan. 29 to produce bomb bodies and containers — the deal covers BLU-136/B units designed to replace cluster munitions — which supports national defense production. Local 12 News

- ➤ Hamilton’s Advanced Manufacturing Workforce and Innovation Hub opened Monday as a $31 million project (with Miami University, Butler Tech, OhioMeansJobs, the city, and Butler County) to train workers for complex manufacturing jobs and revitalize a long-vacant building. Journal-News
