- ➤ Venezuelan residents in Greater Cincinnati expressed a mix of hope and worry after learning Maduro is now in U.S. custody. They celebrated the historic turn while fearing for family remaining in Venezuela and an uncertain future. WLWT
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Ohio's statewide school cellphone ban took effect on Jan. 1, stopping phone use in class except during emergencies. Many local districts already had similar rules and report improved focus and attendance. WLWT
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ A new dental program now expands Butler County veterans’ care beyond cleanings to include extra treatments like extractions and dentures. The program is a partnership between Primary Health Solutions and Butler County Veterans Services at a 2nd Street health center (across High Street) and has no income restrictions. WCPO
