About this event
Join us for a transformative meditation experience at our monthly community gathering. Connect with like-minded individuals and discover inner peace and reflection. Don't miss this opportunity to enhance your well-being and mindfulness. During meditation we also offer the opportunity to receive reiki as an option.
This is a donation based event to support the healing center so we can bring more events like these to the community. Offline payment options include cash or Venmo @karenaprilbrown (8419 are the last four digits of the phone number associated with the Venmo account if needed).
On the day of the event we will send an email with the zoom link to those registered so you have the option to join virtually if you are unable to attend in person. Please do not share the zoom link with anyone. The zoom link is only for those who have registered for the meditation. Recording the session is prohibited.
What to expect:
The evening will begin with a brief introduction and we will ask if anyone would like to receive Reiki (energy healing) during the meditation, meditation will take place for 30 minutes, then group discussion to follow. We will have bolsters, mats, blankets, and blocks - chairs available upon request.
What do you need to bring?
Simply a willingness to turn your loving attention inward. No prior meditation experience required.
Bring pen and paper if you'd like to journal about your experience afterwards. Dress comfortably.
Why join a meditation group?
Meditating with others can lead to a deeper sense of purpose and connection, and being a part of a group can give you the opportunity to ask questions to better understand your experience. Whether you are seeking a lightness of being, stress reduction, increased focus, or greater compassion for yourself and others, the fruits of meditation are profound.
What is Reiki?
Reiki is a gentle Japanese energy healing technique that promotes relaxation, balance, and emotional well-being. It’s typically done through light touch or even without physical contact. Reiki helps to clear energetic blockages and restore natural flow in the body.
Why include Reiki in a group meditation?
Receiving Reiki during meditation can deepen your experience, helping you settle into stillness more easily and connect more fully with your true self. It supports emotional release, energetic alignment, and a sense of feeling grounded and held.
No experience is needed — just bring an open heart and a willingness to receive. All are welcome.
