About this event
Course Overview This course equips learners with evidence-based strategies for the evaluation and management of hypermobility spectrum disorders (HSD) and hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (hEDS). Led by the authors of the Therapeutic Management of Pediatric Hypermobility Spectrum Disorders evidence-based care guideline, the session will provide practical tools and clinical insights to improve outcomes for individuals with these complex conditions.
Participants will gain an overview of the condition, common comorbidities, and clinical considerations. Practical approaches to optimizing outcomes through occupational and physical therapy interventions will be reviewed, along with the benefits of a multidisciplinary approach for long-term management.
Format For all attendees, the course will be delivered in a didactic format, incorporating case reviews and audience engagement to foster clinical reasoning and application. On-site registrants will also have access to a hands-on training experience at the end of the day.

The breakout sessions are on-site–only offerings, providing in-person attendees with exclusive access to hands-on practice as well as interactive, small‑group discussions not available in the virtual format.
