Everyone should be able to enjoy a fun, inspiring, and comfortable visit to Newport Aquarium! ✨ Join us for Family Inclusive Sensory Hours presented by Shriners Hospitals for Children. These monthly events provide a sensory-relaxed environment that is accessible and safe for all guests, including those with Autism, PTSD, dementia, anxiety, and other sensory sensitivities. What to expect during your visit: Lower capacities for a calmer atmosphere Softer music levels and limited microphone use Reduced lighting throughout the aquarium Additional calming areas if you need a break Special animal encounters ️ Sensory level guides for touch, sight, and sound for each exhibit Helpful Resources: Noise-canceling headphones and fidgets will be available at no cost on a first-come, first-served basis to be borrowed during your visit. Member Information: All Members qualify for complimentary admission! Silver & Pre-K Members: Reservation required.
