About this event
Based on Victor Hugo’s 1862 novel, the musical tells the epic tale of Jean Valjean, a former convict seeking redemption in 19th‑century France. After serving 19 years for stealing bread, Valjean is released but pursued by Inspector Javert, who refuses to believe he can change. His journey takes him through Paris, the barricades of the 1832 Student Revolution, and into a battle for the soul of the city. Along the way, he discovers the meaning of love, compassion, and salvation.
