NHS Theatre presents “A Murder is Announced” by Agatha Christie, adapted for the stage by Leslie Darbon
An announcement in the local paper states the time and place when a murder is to occur in Miss Blacklock's Victorian house. The victim is not one of the house's several occupants, but an unexpected and unknown visitor. What follows is a classic Christie puzzle of mixed motives, concealed identities, a second death and a determined inspector grimly following the case's twists and turns. Fortunately, Miss Marple is on hand to provide the solution – at some risk to herself – in a dramatic final confrontation.
General Admission tickets are $12, NHS Alumni $10, Students $5. They can be bought online in advance, or at the door with cash or venmo. Our ticket sales are NHS Theatre's main source of funding, which makes it possible for us to continue doing shows each year. We deeply appreciate your support!
Shows are Friday November 13th at 7:00, Saturday November 14th at 7:00, and Sunday November 15th at 2:00. Doors open 30 minutes before show time.
